Macaw World Florida
Macaw World Florida is the rescue, rehabilitation, sanctuary, and breeding program of the Florida Macaw Conservation Center. It was created to provide exceptional care for macaws in need while supporting the broader mission of Scarlet Macaw conservation.
Our Purpose
Macaw World Florida serves as a place of safety, recovery, and long-term care for birds that require specialized support. Some birds come to us after neglect, surrender, or unstable living situations. Others are part of our conservation-focused breeding efforts. All birds in our care receive individualized attention designed to promote their health, comfort, and well-being.
What We Provide
Rescue
We accept or coordinate care for macaws that need immediate safety and a more appropriate environment.
Rehabilitation
Birds receive support that may include nutritional stabilization, behavior-focused care, veterinary evaluation, and environmental enrichment.
Sanctuary
For macaws that need permanent placement, Macaw World Florida provides long-term sanctuary care in a setting built around welfare and species-appropriate needs.
Breeding
Our breeding program is structured to support conservation goals and the long-term future of the Scarlet Macaw through responsible management and high standards of care.
